Tips That Can Help You To Eliminate Homework Hassles!

Pointers For Parents
Do your children consistently make excuses for not doing their homework? If so, you are not the only one. Many parents struggle and often lack the skills to effectively deal with this and motivate their children to do their homework. These skills are not that difficult to learn.

According to, education specialist at Mindsahead Math and Reading Centers, there are few motivation skills that parents can learn to make homework time easier:

1. Set up a study area in your home i.e a place that is quiet, well lit, and free from distractions.
2. Set up a daily homework time, preferably try the same time each day—if possible, before or after dinner.
3. Motivate children to do homework on their own. Read assignments together, provide some examples and help them organize. Help with the assignment only after the child attempts it on their own.
4. Praise your child. Praising effort and not perfection will always cheer up your children. Tell them the things you like about what they are doing—or have done. For children to succeed, parents must convey a message that they have confidence in them.
5. Choose a gift that the child will appreciate and love, in the form of stickers, a special treat, or one-on-one time with parents.
6. Communicate assertively and tell your children that you expect them to do their homework on their own. Repeat your expectations in a clear, firm voice. Let them know the consequences which include failing grades for not completing homework. Consider taking away privileges like mobile, television or computer time if they do not comply.
Through setting goals, positive parenting and effective communication, parents can help motivate their children to take homework very seriously, develop skills, and benefit from the discipline that homework provides, such as hard work, perseverance and the confidence to overcome challenges.

Why should you hire an English tutor for your child?

English is often overlooked when it comes to tutoring because it is assumed children will learn the associated skills from their peers. While a smart friend can help, parents shouldn’t gloss over the idea of hiring a professional English tutor for their child. The value of learning effective communication will not only improve students’ academic success but may also open doors for better career opportunities and relationships.

Improve Academic Successes
An English tutor can help students succeed in more subjects than English. Learning to articulate one’s thoughts effectively, whether through writing or orally, is essential in nearly every other subject. Whether it’s a presentation in history class or a written explanation as to how they arrived at a particular answer on a math test, the better they can communicate their thoughts, the better their grades will be in other subjects. Reading comprehension and writing skills are also critical for standardized tests and college admissions.
Better Career Prospects

Reading, writing, and communication skills extend well beyond the classroom. Regardless of a college graduate’s field of study, employers want to hire employees with excellent communication abilities. These are essential in nearly every industry and at every career level, from an entry-level customer service position to executive and leadership roles. With today’s technology, it’s just as important for people to be able to write polished, professional emails as it is for them to give well-planned presentations and field phone calls from clients. The better a person can communicate with others, the better their career prospects will be.
Higher Quality of Life
Communication isn’t just essential in the business world; it’s also a necessity in every other area of life. People who communicate well with others may enjoy a higher quality of life and better personal relationships. Whether it’s expressing a need to a partner or other family member, asking a friend for help, or expressing gratitude, effective written and verbal communication can improve your sense of self and help you engage in more satisfying connections with others.

Hunting: Summer Camp for your Child

Hunting: Summer Camp for your Child
Summer is the time for relaxing and socializing children. Throughout this month of years, children should not
lose their focus, for that it is very important to enroll your teenager to summer camp.

Summer camp is very helpful for teenagers as during the entire year the curriculum is fast-paced so many of them are left behind.
Summer camp is the best way to grow your child independently. When parents aren’t there to remind them and counselors
are there to guide them in a playful way like reminding them to brush their teeth, eat healthy foods, or wear sunscreen, life at camp becomes a
great exercise in the every day responsibilities we learn as we grow up.
A good program will make it easy for teens to make friends quickly, and there’s nothing that forms friendships quite like
living together in a summer camp! It’s not always easy for a group of teens to share a small space, but it forms essential life skills and emphasizes an appreciation for a diverse community of people.
At Mindsahead, we focus on overall development :
  • Lego Robotics
  • Crazy Science
  • Makers & Inventers
  • Crazy Chemistry
  • Youtube Vlogging
Lego Robotics: The program contains how to Program robots and complete real-life problems.
Crazy Science: Your kids will love to explore the basics of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Earth Science.
Makers and Inventors: They will learn how to computer programing, coding, Puzzles solving brain problems.
Crazy Chemistry: Kids learn multi-sensory philosophy campers will explore chemical reactions, shoot the rocket with chemicals and explore a lot of hands-on activities.
Youtube Vlogging: They will learn to create their youtube channel, learning the art of personalizing videos, editing, managing and monetizing channels.
Many of them will return home feeling closer to their “camp friends” than to their “school friends!” as living with them is a completely different experience. A camp friendship may last
a lifetime or only until the end of the summer, but overnight summer camps nevertheless offer teens the opportunity to make new friends apart from their regular circle of friends they learn to connect with others in positive ways. Learning to live in a different environment with strangers is a completely new experience. Learning at summer camp is a lifetime memory for your teens. Make sure you shape your teenager a better learning experience.
